I, Lucas Howard, operate Ever After, a social movie tracking mobile application (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, and protect information when you use the Service.

I share your phone number with Twilio (a third-party service provider) solely to send verification SMS messages during onboarding. Twilio processes this data as a service provider and does not use it for its own purposes.

I do not share your date of birth, contacts, or any other personal information with third parties except as required by law or to protect the Service.

Ever After uses movie metadata (titles, descriptions, posters, etc.) from The Movie Database (TMDb) API. TMDb does not receive any personal information about you from me.

5. Content Moderation

I may review, remove, or restrict content that violates the Terms of Service. I may suspend or terminate accounts for abusive or unlawful behavior.

6. Data Storage & Security

Passwords are securely hashed using industry-standard methods. The Service uses secure connections (HTTPS) where applicable. I take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure.

I keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active.

If you delete your account, I will permanently delete your personal data within a reasonable time (usually within 30 days), except for data I must keep to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Some data may remain temporarily in system backups.

Ever After is intended for users 13 years and older. Date of birth is collected solely to verify age and prevent access by users under 13. If I become aware that a user is under 13, I will delete their account and associated data.

I may update this Privacy Policy. If I make material changes, I will update the “Last Updated” date and provide notice in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
